Itinerary

After your trip and landing in Cusco, our representative will be waiting for you with a sign showing your name at the airport or bus terminal. Transfer to your hotel and briefing for your stay. ITINERARY: If you are visiting the Qoricancha circuit, the pick-up will be at 12:50 p.m. Visit the following tourist sites:

  • Qoricancha: (Religious Temple) The primary center of the Inca Empire.
  • Sacsayhuaman: (Temple of Lightning) Majestic stone structures, some weighing up to 120 tons.
  • Qenqo: (Labyrinth) A religious center dedicated to the worship of the Earth.
  • Puca Pucara: (Reddish Place) A military control center.
  • Tambomachay: (Temple of Water) A center for water worship.
  • End time: Approximately 6:00 p.m.

Pick-up at 07:30 a.m. from your hotel. A 1.5-hour journey to Pisac. Tour along the Willkamayu River (Sacred River). Buffet lunch in Urubamba. Transfer to Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, Princess Baths, and Andean terraces. Board the train to Aguas Calientes for your overnight stay. In the evening, coordinate with the guide for the Machu Picchu visit.

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up by the guide (coordinated time). Bus transfer to the Machu Picchu citadel. Entry and guided tour for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Free time for lunch in Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, return train to Cusco (please arrive 30 minutes early). Transfer from Ollantaytambo to your hotel in Cusco.

Pick-up at 08:30 a.m. from your hotel. Visit Chinchero to learn about traditional weaving and materials. Tour the Maras Salt Mines, a complex of over 3,000 salt ponds. Visit Moray, consisting of circular terraces used as an agricultural laboratory. Return to Cusco at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Pick-up between 04:00 a.m. and 04:30 a.m. heading to Pitumarca. Short stop for supplies. Journey to Cusipata for breakfast. Transfer to Wasipata and start of a 1-hour and 50-minute hike to the summit of Rainbow Mountain (5,080 m / 16,666 ft). Free time for photos and rest. Return to Cusipata for lunch and back to Cusco at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Pick-up at 04:30 a.m. from your hotel. A 3-hour journey to Mollepata for breakfast. Transfer to Soraypampa (3,850 m / 12,631 ft). Start of a 1.5-hour hike to Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 ft). The guide will provide free time to enjoy views of the Salkantay and Humantay peaks. Descend to Mollepata for lunch and return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m.

Free morning to rest. Finally, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Lima.

During the program, you will do short and moderate walks in Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. Additionally, there are longer treks for Rainbow Mountain (approximately 7 km / 4.3 miles round trip) and Humantay Lake (approximately 6 km / 3.7 miles round trip).

The tour is suitable for individuals aged 12 and up; however, the high-mountain stretches such as Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) and Humantay are not recommended for people with heart or respiratory issues. It is suggested to evaluate your physical condition before booking.
