Pick-up at 3:30 am from your hotel in Cusco and transfer by tourist bus to the Ollantaytambo train station (a 1-hour and 30-minute trip). At 6:10 am, we board the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying a scenic journey of approximately 2 hours. Estimated travel time: 3 hours and 30 minutes (Cusco to Aguas Calientes, including bus and train).
Final altitude: 6,562 ft (Aguas Calientes).

Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
Greeting at the train station by the guide and transfer to the bus station to ascend 1,312 feet on a 30-minute zigzagging route to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Entry and ticket control to begin the guided tour of over 2 hours, visiting key sectors such as the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Main Plaza, and other iconic points of the citadel. Estimated visit time: 2 hours guided + free time.

Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco
Return by bus to Aguas Calientes with free time for lunch at the restaurant of your choice. In the afternoon, we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo (please arrive 30 minutes before departure). At the Ollantaytambo station, a 1-hour and 30-minute tourist bus transfer back to Cusco. Approximate arrival time in Cusco: 11:00 pm.
