Itinerary

Meeting Point
Pickup from your hotel in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. to begin the journey toward the southern part of the region.

Transfer to Cusipata
A journey of approximately 1 hour and a half by tourist transportation to the district of Cusipata, where we will enjoy breakfast before continuing the tour.

Transfer to Sangarará
We continue by vehicle for an additional 30 minutes until reaching the town of Sangarará, a key point on the route to Waqrapukara.

Road to Punta Carretera
A drive along a winding, unpaved road for approximately 30 minutes until reaching Punta Carretera (the starting point of the hike).

Hike to Waqrapukara
A descent of approximately 2 hours (8 km) crossing Andean landscapes and canyons until reaching the Waqrapukara archaeological complex.

Guided Visit to Waqrapukara
Exploration of the archaeological site along with our guide, who will explain its historical and cultural significance. Free time to explore and take photographs.

Box Lunch
We will enjoy a box lunch surrounded by a unique natural environment.

Return to Punta Carretera
Return hike along the same route, with an ascent of approximately 2 hours until reaching the transportation.

Return to Cusco
Return trip to the city, with an estimated arrival around 7:00 p.m., concluding near the Plaza de Armas.
