Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Airport Pick-up – Cusco City Tour
After your trip and landing in Cusco, our staff will be waiting with a sign bearing your name at the airport or bus terminal. Transfer to your hotel and information for your stay. If you take the Qoricancha circuit, pick-up will be at 12:45 p.m.. Visit the following tourist sites:- Qoricancha: (Religious Temple) Main point of the Inca Empire.
- Sacsayhuaman: (Temple of Lightning) Impressive stonework, some blocks up to 120 tons.
- Qenqo: (Labyrinth) Religious center dedicated to the worship of the Earth.
- Puca Pucara: (Reddish Place) Military control center.
- Tambomachay: (Temple of Water) Center for the worship of water.
Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu)
Pick-up between 06:30 a.m. and 07:00 a.m. from your hotel. Visit Chinchero and the royal estate of Inca Túpac Yupanqui, its square, and colonial temple. Then tour Moray (Inca agricultural experimentation center) and the Maras Salt Mines. Buffet lunch in Urubamba. Visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, with its temples, canals, and Inca walls. Transfer to the train station to board toward Machu Picchu Town and overnight.Day 3: Machu Picchu
Pick-up at the coordinated meeting point. Then we will board the bus to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Entry and guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Free time to explore. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, train back to Ollantaytambo (arrive 30 minutes early). Transfer from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.Day 4: Cusco – Farewell
